Someone explain this one to me -  a man was arrested on suspicion of violating Japanese Copyright law for performing 33 popular songs on a harmonica while being accompanied on piano. I have no exposure of knowledge of Japanese copyright law, but I am shocked that there would be criminal provisions over the performance of copyrighted works (which would touch on only the publishing of the songs). Does this mean that it is no longer safe to sing in the shower in Japan?
