Hate Something Beautiful has tuned me into near-electroclash group Fujiya & Miyagi – who have the most Japanese name of a non-Japanese group. Their bio references a sound that comes out of a love for sumo wrestlers, seventies krautrock and electronic from the early nineties. This British duo’s first full length album, Transparent Things, was released earlier in the year internationally. North America gets the drop on January 23, 2007.
