Nancy Grace is a former New York attorney and is a victim’s advocate after her husband was murdered. She is also the host of her own “justice” show on CNN Headline News, where she seems to focus her attention on missing white girls. That said, Grace garnered lots of attention when Melinda Duckett, a South Korean orphan, killed herself in her grandparents home. Two days prior to her death, Duckett was a guest on Grace’s show to talk about the disappearance of her 2 year-old son. Grace verbally lunged at Duckett and essentially accused her of her own child’s disapearance. Most people who had heard about this matter were disgusted at Grace.
The New York Observer writes about how Nancy Grace tried to smooth her reputation over:
In the days after Melinda Duckett’s suicide, Grace utilized the services of Anna Cordasco, who is the managing director of Citigate Sard Verbinnen, which specializes in below-the-radar corporate-image resuscitation. Cordasco and her colleagues immediately set to work restoring the fire-breathing former prosecutor to her pre-Duckett level of dignity and national esteem. Except it just got worse.
