Yup that is John Hodgman on the cover of the latest issue, and the second one, from Good Magazine. I picked up my copy the other night and have quickly sunk my self into it. As the title says Good is good. Many of the issues covered in the magazine are aligned with those of activitybook. It is nice when things work out like that. In Good you will find coverage of issues such as social justice, the environment, literature, the marketplace and so so much more.
Take a look at their website to get a feel for their contents and writing style. When, and not if, you are interested in subscribing to Good Magazine, you can do so knowing that 100% of the subscription cost, i.e. the money you pay, goes to the charity of your choice from a list of 12 charities.
Want to know more about the philosophy and background of Good? Go here.
On a personal note, for the audience, I have attempted to contact the people behind Good to get some sort of interview with founder Ben Goldhirsh. Hopefully that will come through.
