Feist’s new album The Reminder hit North American streets today and I am a happy listener. The album is full of instantly listenable tracks that come from a few different places. All in all the album is a complete album full of verve, heart and playfulness, just like her second and breakthrough album Let It Die. I am really enjoying ‘Past in Present’, ‘1234′, ‘Honey,Honey’, ‘Sea Lion Woman’ and ‘My Moon Man’.

The video for 1234 (which I would guess is the second single from the album after ‘My Moon My Man’) is on youtube.

My supposition is that Feist is big on the dancing, given that My Moon My Man and now 1234 feature ensemble dance numbers. Additionally the video to ‘One Evening’ featured her dancing with Buck 65. No, I am not deriding dancing, or Feist dancing for that matter, it is merley an observation.
